Travelling the world from the Zaporizhzhia Airport has become easier

The first airplane operated by the LOT Polish Airlines landed in Zaporizhzhia on July 2, having started a new air link between Zaporizhzhia and Warsaw. The flights will now be operated at least 6 times a week by the modern Embraer jets. It will give Ukrainian passengers an opportunity to quickly and comfortably travel not only to the EU countries, but to the North America countries as well.

The LOT Embraer airplane will depart from Warsaw at 11:00 and arrive at the Zaporizhzhia International Airport at 14:00 on Monday, Friday and Sunday. The airplane will fly back from Zaporizhzhia to Warsaw at 14:40, and land at the Warsaw Chopin Airport at 15:55. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday – the airplane will depart from Warsaw at 14:20 and arrive in Ukraine at 17:20. And these days passengers will be able to depart from Zaporizhzhia at 18:00 and arrive at Warsaw at 19:15.

Flight schedule between Warsaw and Zaporizhzhia has to ensure the most comfortable transfer of passengers to the Western Europe and the North America via the hub airport of the LOT company in Warsaw. Passengers will need at least 35 minutes in Warsaw to continue travelling to the Western and Central European destinations, such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and Milan. Transfer at the Warsaw Chopin Airport for the passengers, who travel to the North America, particularly to Chicago, New York and Los-Angeles, USA, or Toronto, Canada, takes just one hour. All the passengers will be able to enjoy the comfort of one of the best airliners in the world – Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Moreover, quick transfer will be available to those, who travel from Zaporizhzhia to Budapest, Prague, Tallinn, Vilnius, Kaunas and Košice.
The Zaporizhzhia airport authority says a new flight and cooperation with one of the largest European airlines is an important indicator of the company’s successful development. Company’s managers continue developing new airport routes and engaging in cooperation with new air carriers.

“Today we have opened a new scheduled route to Europe and have welcomed the first passengers from Warsaw. It is a natural result of the attention the city council pays to the development of the Zaporizhzhia airport. We have been successfully constructing a new terminal, opening new routes, holding talks with air carriers. We do all that for easy and comfortable travelling of the citizens of Zaporizhzhia ,” – says the director of the company Viktor Biskupskyi.

Flight from Zaporizhzhia to Warsaw is operated by Embraer jets with the passenger capacity of 70 – 82 seats divided into three classes: economy class, premium economy class and business class.
