Municipal Enterprise Zaporizhzhia International Airport visited by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration
Today a visiting meeting has taken place between the city mayor Volodymyr Buriak, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl and the airport authority at the Municipal Enterprise Zaporizhzhia International Airport. The meeting has been held at the new terminal construction site.
During the meeting the representatives of municipal and oblast authorities discussed a rapid pace of construction and the quality of the work performed. They also mentioned the pace of the passenger traffic growth, which has been typical of the airport for the last years, and which makes it possible to implement new modern technologies.
The Altis Construction contracting company is planning to start the finishing work inside the terminal as soon as this autumn. All the roof and façade works will have been completed by that time.
Once the construction is completed the new terminal with the area of 12 000 m2 will be able to serve 400 passengers per hour. Among them 250 will be served on international flights, and 150 – on domestic ones.
