Indicators of production activity of the Utility enterprise ” Zaporizhzhia International Airport” for seven months of 2019
Over 280 thousand passengers passed through the air gateway of Zaporizhzhia airport for 7 months of 2019. Overall, the growth of passenger traffic is almost 27% from last year. The largest share of passengers is international flights – 214 thousand, it increased by 28%. For comparison, last year, 167 thousand of people used the services of Zaporizhzhia airport . In the domestic sector, the increase is 22%, the number of passengers increased from 55.5 thousand in 2018 to 68 thousand in the present.
In general, the air harbor of Zaporizhzhia airport in July increased its performance by 13% compared to 2018, up to 51 thousand passengers. More than 40 thousand passengers were transported on international airlines, almost 11 thousand on domestic airlines. For comparison, last year, these figures were 37 thousand for international traffic and 8 thousand for domestic one.
Separately, the airport in July beat two more records. Firstly, in the last 11 years, since 2008, when the systematic collection of statistics began, the largest number of passengers – almost 25.5 thousand ofpeople was sent through Zaporizhzhia air gateway during the second summer month. Secondly, in the same month the largest number of flight departures was recorded – 356.
