Indicators of production activity of Communal enterprise “Zaporizhzhia International Airport” for April 2019
In April 2019, even more passengers, as compared with April of last year, used the services of the Zaporizhzhia airport. Last month the company serviced almost 38.5 thousand passengers, thus exceeding the figures of the last year by 8%. It should be noted that on the lines of international air transportation there is an increase in the number of passengers by 11%, while on domestic lines there is a slight decrease in passenger traffic within 0.5%.
In total, during 4 months of the current year, the enterprise continues to show a steady growth of the indicators compared with the same period last year. Over 135 thousand passengers passed through the Zaporizhia air harbor, which is more than 16,5 thousand (14%) more than last year. As in April 2019, international flights were the most popular in the first four months, with 97,341 passengers being carried. Tickets for domestic flights continue be preferable, the number of passengers in these areas increased by 7%.
